Our production Nunsense ran from November 8 to 12, 2023, at the Old St Thomas Chapel in Narellan. This hilarious and heart-warming musical comedy, written by Dan Goggin, was brought to life under the expert direction of Bree-Anna Lindsey.
The unique venue choice of staging the show in a church added an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the production. Our talented cast, including Inge Marais as Sister Mary Regina, Hayleigh Burman as Sister Mary Hubert, Emily Boardman as Sister Robert Anne, Kate Shaw as Sister Mary Amnesia, Molly Quinnell as Sister Mary Leo, and Jude Taylor as Sister Mary Myopia, delivered outstanding performances that kept the audience laughing throughout the show.
Our Camden Musical Society family is extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to making this production a success. From the cast and crew to the volunteers working behind the scenes, your dedication and hard work shone through in every aspect of the show.
Special thanks to Musical Director Michael Jiear for his work with the cast on harmonies, and to Sasja Benman for the delightful choreography that added an extra layer of entertainment.
We are also grateful to our community for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. Your laughter and applause fuelled our performances and reminded us of the joy that musical theatre brings to our lives.
We look forward to continuing to bring high-quality, entertaining productions to Camden and hope to see you all at our next show.
